Who is more valuable for a company: an experienced employee or someone, who is just starting their career? Older or younger people? These questions are extremely important now, when in the context of the aging society the challenges of finding a perfect candidate for a job become more and more relevant. The team of sociologists from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities lead by Rūta Brazienė, PhD, had undertaken the research on the discrimination of older people in Lithuanian job market.
