Researchers from the University of Granada confirm the existence of a clear association between doing aerobic exercises on a regular basis and the so called sustained attention, a high-level cognitive function inherent to all cognitive processes. The research was carried out at the Brain, Mind, & Behavior Research Center, and it compared two groups of young adults with ages between 18 and 35 years, one of them was higher-fit (triathletes, cyclists and runners) and the other lower-fit (people with a sedentary way of life).
