• Long-haul cabin crew can ease symptoms of jet-lag by regulating meal times on their days off. • Traditionally cabin crew rely on sleep strategies (sleeping in a dark room, avoiding caffeine before bedtime etc) to alleviate jet-lag, but these do not reset body clocks. • More research could be done into whether the timing of meals and their content has a similar positive effect on jet-lag.
