A new ecopsychology tool, with roots in the environmental justice movement, aims to break patterns of racial and social injustice that, combined with ecologically unsustainable development, continue to fragment and damage the planet and individuals. The Breakthrough Compass, a model designed to facilitate transformation of the self and the world, is described in Ecopsychology, a peer-reviewed, online journal from Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., publishers.
